Antioxidant & Anti-inflammatory Tea

This tea recipe is probably one of my favorites! I love the taste and the scent, plus, it has so many benefits for our health. The spices in it are antioxidant, which means that it can help fight the free radicals that could potentially affect the cell to cell communication. It is also anti-inflammatory and can help detox the bowels.

It tastes delicious!

What else can you ask for!?

One cup of this tea a day will bring great benefits to your health along with a balanced diet.

Ingredients (serving size 1)

  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground fresh turmeric

  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground fresh ginger

  • 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon of maple syrup or honey

  • 1 pinch of cinnamon

  • 1 pinch of black pepper

  • 2 cups of water


1. Bring the 2 cups of water to boil and add the spices (do not add honey or maple syrup until ready to serve).

2. Bring the heat down to low immediately after adding the spices and cover for 5 minutes. If you want it stronger, leave it on low heat for up to 10 minutes.

3. Add the honey or maple syrup and enjoy!
